I would make my shuttles fly

2025 | HEAD | ACT Valais

This performance explores the intersection of textiles, technology, history, and resistance through the lens of weaving, hacking, and storytelling. It takes place across different timelines—past, present, and future—bridging myth, memory, and speculative futures. The central character, Mokoshe, a non-binary textile hacker, connects with Mokosh, a Slavic mother from the past, and Aëlle, a half-human, half-axolotl creature from the future, through a cryptic language woven into fabric and transmitted via radio signals. The performance weaves together historical struggles, cryptography, and speculative fiction to interrogate labor, gender, and language.
