It’s a 3 mini acts performance, in the first act i’m shown getting ready for a night out with some rap music on the backgroud, putting on some makeup and everything for 2 minutes, then the lights will be off, i’ll head to the second space that will represent a chicha lounge where the lights will go in a clubbing mood. There will be a sound in the background that i made full of archives from medias talking about north african women in a very misogynistic way, mixed all togheter and i will dance and smoke as if i was in a chicha club/lounge and instead of the usual rap music talking about women and north african women, it will be this sound. This will go for about 3 minutes, and then the light will shut again and i’ll go in the center of the stage. I’ll read a text talking about being from the diaspora, and being a hyperfem woman of the diaspora, and the challenges of this, the dfficulties and the privileges, and how it feels to deal with all this. The lecture will go for about 2 minutes. i’ll remove my high heels and night dress during the lecture, ending it in a very neutral appearance, and then when I finish my lecture, i’ll leave the stage.
