Cultural history presents itself as a history of the exercise of power and oppression. Our bodies retain and reflect this both physically and psychologically. The fragility of existence is physical and linguistic. My central artistic and existential concern is the (human) body. I want to work on an art that locates bodies in affirmative gestures beyond the reach of power. My performance features dance, voice, objects, language and traces personal histories.
