What does it take to be an artist? Do you need a clever discourse and a tidy minimalist look to please institutions? Do you need to expose your deep dark and dirty self to prove that you authentically belong? With irony and vulnerability, this performance is an attempt at embodying these conflicting demands, and probably many others. Starting as a very serious guided tour, the piece shifts into a musical monologue by an artist persona who doesn’t hesitate to exhibit their most intimate ambitions and body parts.
