Singendes Holz is A solo performance where two marimba wood plates “speak” hidden memories, while the performer answers with live voice, effects, and minimal movement. for voice, two broken marimba plates (contact-miked), live electronics and projection. Inspirtaion was from my grandma word that Wood has memory and I wanted firn new sound and new life for Broken marimba bar which is no one use after all. The wood becomes a second performer: touching the plates triggers processed recorded speech memories Based on performers history that the performer cannot or does not want to speak directly. The performer answers or speaks live with voice, breath textures, and harmonized layers , shifting between speech and non-verbal vocal improvisation. The piece moves through three chapters—Child Tree(Child hood), Traveler Tree(Life as Foreiner), and Love Tree(About my sexuality)—and ends in a flashback section with a short montage video and a wordless improvised summary.and using photo from past as a visual charctor. The work is not a confessional narrative; it is a dialogue system in which material memory and human body negotiate what can be said, what must be displaced, and what returns as sound.
